Week 28 - Hi there everyone I trust you are not all dying from heat exhaustion? What a hot weekend it truly has been, well not much photography completed this weekend due to more I.T issues AGAIN! (All be it I cannot be held responsible for hardware failing I guess?) My server died last week so I have had a rather busy weekend with data recovery and thus have had little time to head out in this scorching weather armed with my camera. This week’s image comes from the 1200 or so shots I took last week at the R.A.F Waddington air show, as I mentioned it was a true learning experience as far as light metering is concerned and I only hope that I have a better photo shoot when I go to the Farnborough air show on the 25th which just happens to be my 40th birthday too (Ouch!) well I do hope you enjoy this beautiful rendition of the sublimely classic Vulcan bomber aircraft in flight? I love the beauty of this aircraft and to think it so very old now too, again just basic processing completed within Adobes Lightroom and viola awesome! Week 27 - Welcome back everyone this weekend has been a busy and a hot one! Friday night I managed to make it to the Red Bull X Fighters show that was held in the Nottingham market square which is where this week’s image comes from, unfortunately most of the images came out rather silhouetted as this was a massive learning curve for me for which I failed so I have used the silhouette to create this rather retro look and feel after a little manipulation within my photo editing package overall I think it has come of rather well and thus thought I would post it up so as to get your thoughts (and any tips you may have on exposure light metering!) this Sunday I spent the day at the R.A.F Waddington air show and the imaging results were very similar yet again so I think I need some help with fast action subject! Well I am sure I can get a few images out of the trip and will try and perhaps get one up next week for your all-important critique. Week 26 - wow what a scorcher of a weekend! not much time for photography this weekend as I was working this Saturday and today was out of the question all be it I did try but nothing much came back from my efforts but we did make it back in time for the football. so this week’s image comes from a little trip out to once again Attenborough Nature reserve heading towards Sawley, another opportunity to try out my new wide angle lens and how long did I wait for this swan to drift into shot? well again I like it as it couples the serenity with the sheer awesomeness of the industrious Power station looming in the rear of the image, I especially like the reflection and the carefully controlled colour of the white steam! Week 25 - Hi there people and welcome back well what a week for me as I am still having slight health issues with my dam poorly leg but have managed to get out and about this weekend both to my friends to finally catch up and meet there new addition to the family, that being little Ben and what a little star he is as he quite happily posed for the camera whilst trying to pull a whole manor of faces. There were too many pictures to choose from as he is so cute so I though this cheeky shot would do him some justice? I went on the annual Great Nottingham Bike Ride today and 50 miles was hell this year mainly because of my leg issue and I am so very out of practice! Well I hope you all have a great week ahead of you and many thanks for revisiting to check out this week’s image both me and Ben hope you love it as much as he loves the camera, so let’s hear your feedback as be good everyone, Jurgen and PS thanks Ben for your studio time x.

Week 24 - Hi there thanks for coming back to check out this week’s blog shot, I hope you all had a great weekend I myself have been a little ill of late so again have not really had a chance to get out and about so this week’s image comes from a walk I took around Lowdham in Nottingham and again it looks bright and fresh with a sumptuous amount of greenery to get you into that summer mood. with a little cropping and simply tone and sharpness adjustments I think this looks great, perhaps even another windows desktop wallpaper for your computer? Sorry the blog has gone up late this week but as i said I haven’t been too well of late but here’s to the road to recovery and thanks again everyone, take care now Jurgen.

Week 23 - Hi there everyone well I trust you have all had a hot and sticky weekend? I managed to get out on the Mountain bike on Saturday with my brother for a 15 mile cycle and then a long walk in the afternoon with my good friend Steve armed with my camera but alas I took not a single shot! so this week’s image is something a little different from my back catalogue and its somewhat of an almost commercial shot that could have come straight out of the car manufacturers brochure, but I like it as its very colourful and shows a sense of motoring passion coupled with the very letterbox presentation I believe it works well and I hope you do too. Well thanks again for any feed back that comes from this week’s image and I hope you all have a great week ahead. All the best Jurgen.

Week 22 - Welcome back and I trust you are all having a great Bank Holiday? well I couldn't resist any more so am now posting the second image fro my trip to Glen Coe and also my first image that has had a little HDR treatment so I hope you all like it? I have printed this one off as well and its simply stunning from the moody sky to the almost individual grains of sand in the foreground, so a big thumbs up from me to the HDR treatment. please let me know your thoughts as always and I hope you enjoy this image as mush as I do, have a great few days off everyone and I will see you back here next week. Week 21 - WOW what a scorcher his weekend has been! I am so red and aching from head to toe as I have had a busy weekend with lots of walking! this shot came from Saturdays outing to Mam Tor in the peak district where I hooked up with some good friends and walked for miles. lots of great shots and there will be more to come on the blog perhaps in coming weeks this one was taken as inspiration hit me and my budding assistant had to go through many Dandelions. I hope you like the shot as I think it follows on quite nicely from last weeks summery feel? Sunday was great too as again I hooked up with more friends and we headed out locally to Wollaton Park and surrounding area's where again I think I have a few great shots so watch this space everyone. well I hope you all have a great week and please let it cool down a little being as I am so red now! cheers everyone and as always thanks for taking the time to look and feed-back Jurgen.

Week 20 - Hi there people and welcome back well not much of a weekend to say the least as I was working on Saturday but alas what a great day Sunday was for weather, so I managed to get out with my friends Andrew and Sharon for a stroll in the countryside and managed to bag this lovely filed of Dandy's we had to sneak through a fence to get the shot but i think it was well worth it with this very low down shot a little sharpening and colour toning and WOW! I do hope you like it as I didn't want to post up another of my shots from Glen Coe but watch this space as there is to be some stunning ones that I have been working on. Week 19 - Hello and welcome back, This weeks image comes from my long awaited trip to Glen Coe in Scotland last weekend, It was four days of fun with my three friends and all in all the weather held up reasonably well with only Saturday being a a bit of a washout. well what can I say about Glen Coe other than its simply Beautiful and I would love to go back during the changing seasons to get a better feel for the place. I must have taken 500 - 600 images so be sure there will be some more posted on my blog in the coming weeks as and when I get time to edit the images. This first one was taken on the last morning of our stay and I took it upon myself to get up yet again at the unearthly hour of 4AM to venture outside to about 200 yards from the hotel car park and then simply set-up my stall with filters attached and waited for the light to hit the side of this magnificent and very childlike traditional triangular mountain WOW! I do believe it looks amazing. but do you? so thanks again guys and let's have some of that feedback seeing as last week was such a washout, I am guessing no one really likes flowers? OK take it easy and see you all next week Jurgen
