Like the treatment very much. Very similar to what I’ve done with my shot, though mine’s full frontal so to speak. Not so sure about the left hand side background.
You may “simply” be “the photographer” but your eye is the critical one in that it sees the potential for the image in the first place and then you interpret it as you see fit. Unless we were there at the same time we can’t know what was in front of you and how to interpret it.
BTW glad to know that you dad’s on the mend.
What camera have you decided to get?

Like this a lot. Very graphic and yes it’s been done before – so what!
Sorry to hear you’ve had bad news hope things sort themselves out soon.
BTW I agree with MrC about the processing. Looks like it could have had a bit more white in the whites – the blacks look a little blocked up too in places.

Liking, a good, bold image. What have you done to this processing wise? I do feel you could perhaps get a little more kick out of this shot, perhaps a little more contrast im not sure.

Also guessing this is a zebra as apose to a horse?

Yet another good image Jurgen. Still don’t know why you want to change your camera when you get images like this!
Did you put a slight vignette on this ? If so I think you may have overdone it a touch. It also looks a little soft at the top but that’s probably my eyes!
