Hi there and welcome to my photography website, I work as an I.T Analyst by day and hope to become a credible Photographer within my spare time. I have no real background in Art or Photography for that matter, but have decided to give it a go after being involved with a few people who actually do it professionally.
I have been looking into this idea of taking photo’s for some time and was led to believe that it wouldn’t be that expensive thus making it a relatively cheap hobby for the weekends, How wrong was I? I have started with a Sony Alpha A300 with a standard kit lens 18 – 70mm and then after only 3 months I decided to upgrade to the Alpha A550 and many lenses, filters and photographic paraphernalia to follow.
I have been shooting digital now for just over a year and have also joined a local photographic society to help me learn and gather inspiration from the professionals. I am reading lots and praying for good weather daily so that I can get out and start snapping away at anything and everything. As I said I have a few friends that have done photography for some time now and I will be pulling upon their experience to gain a better understanding of Photography, hopefully this will then enable me to create my own style of Photography in the coming years?
It’s all very exciting and I really didn’t think that I would take to photography but I love it and I hope that you all enjoy my images on this website, I have a weekly blog too that you can sign up for and leave feedback so as to help me again improve on what seems to be a massive learning curve.
